About Courtney
Courtney Writer entered Southwestern Law School in 2011 and completed her Juris Doctor in 2014. Her legal education spanned subjects common to modern practice and included the coursework required for a law degree. She left law school prepared for practice and began building a career in private practice soon after graduation.
She joined Price Law Office, APC in 2017. Early in her time there she handled a variety of matters that exposed her to courtroom procedure, client intake and case preparation. Her work has included drafting pleadings, conducting legal research and participating in hearings. Colleagues say she approaches each file methodically and keeps clients informed as cases move forward.
Courtney maintains memberships in several local bar and professional organizations. She is a current member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She also belongs to the Joseph B. Campbell Inns of Court. Those affiliations provide regular contact with other practitioners and opportunities for continuing legal education.
Her courtroom experience complements office-based practice. She has managed discovery, worked on motions and assisted in trial preparation. That combination has required steady attention to deadlines and an ability to translate legal issues into clear advice for clients. She also routinely handles client communications and works with experts and opposing counsel to move cases forward.
Over time her practice has centered on the daily work of a civil litigator: investigating facts, preparing filings and appearing before judges. She balances courtroom responsibilities with the administrative demands of running cases from intake to resolution.
