About Courtney Roderick

Courtney Roderick Soria earned her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Central Florida in 2006. She entered the legal field following law school and moved quickly into practice, building on early courtroom and immigration exposure.

Her first positions after law school paired courtroom work and practical training. In 2010 she served as a legal intern at the Orlando Immigration Court and worked as a law clerk at the firm of Suzanne E. Vazquez, P.A. That early mix of government and private-sector experience informed her approach to case preparation and client advising.

Soria remained with Suzanne E. Vazquez, P.A. through 2011, transitioning from law clerk to associate attorney. Two years later she launched Soria Law and took on the role of managing lawyer in 2013. In that capacity she has overseen casework, managed filings before immigration tribunals, and handled litigation in federal court when matters required it. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Her professional affiliations reflect long-standing ties to immigration practice and local bar groups. Soria has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2007. She joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Central Florida chapter in 2011 and later the Southern Florida chapter in 2013. She holds memberships in the Orange County Bar Association and the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, both beginning in 2011. More recently she has participated in the South Palm Beach County chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, where her memberships began in 2018. Earlier memberships included the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the statewide Florida Association for Women Lawyers.

Soria’s record shows sustained engagement in immigration-related work and in the bar organizations that serve practitioners in that field. Her background combines courtroom internships and clerkships, private-firm associate work, and firm management. She continues to practice at Soria Law, where she handles immigration matters and related federal filings as part of her current practice focus.
