About Cory D

Cory D Britt took a conventional path into the law. He earned a B.A. from Asbury College in 2006 and completed his J.D. at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2010. Those years set the technical foundation for a career practiced across state lines.

After law school, Britt built a practice that spans both Kentucky and Ohio. He is licensed to practice in those two jurisdictions and has handled matters that require an understanding of each state's statutes and court procedures. He has worked in courtroom settings and in advisory roles, moving between litigation calendars and client meetings as cases required.

His professional memberships tie him to the Cincinnati legal community. He holds membership in the Cincinnati Bar Association and participates in that organization’s activities. Local bar work gives him access to continuing legal education and a network of peers in the tri-state area.

Colleagues describe Britt as methodical in preparing cases and straightforward in client communications. He approaches file work with an emphasis on clarity. He tends to break complex legal questions into manageable parts and explain them plainly to clients and opposing counsel. That approach has guided how he handles negotiations and courtroom presentations alike.

Britt’s practice reflects the practical demands of practicing in two neighboring states. He tracks changes in state law and local court rules. He also coordinates filings and appearances across jurisdictional lines when a matter touches both Kentucky and Ohio. That logistical work is part of his day-to-day practice, alongside drafting motions, advising clients, and managing discovery processes when needed.

Outside of casework, he maintains ties to the legal community through bar association events and professional development. He continues to engage in opportunities that keep him current on procedural changes and trial practice techniques. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters arising under Kentucky and Ohio law, handling both courtroom work and transactional questions that cross state lines.
