About Corry Jermaine

Corry Jermaine Brannen built his legal training at two North Carolina institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in pre-law from North Carolina A&T State University in 2009 and completed his Juris Doctor at North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2012. He remained tied to the state after graduation and has since practiced in North Carolina.

His time in law school coincided with a period of steady growth in the local legal community. Brannen's academic record placed him among peers who went on to work in private practice, public service, and corporate roles. The combination of an undergraduate pre-law program and a J.D. gave him grounding in both theory and courtroom procedure.

Brannen is admitted to practice in North Carolina. He moved into private practice after finishing law school and took on cases that required both negotiation and litigation. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in preparing a file and ready to take a case to court when the facts and law warrant it. He has handled client matters across a range of typical practice needs for a small firm.

In 2020 he became the managing lawyer at Brannen Law, Pllc. In that role he oversees day-to-day operations, directs case strategy, and manages client intake. He also supervises support staff and coordinates outside resources when a matter calls for additional expertise. His role requires balancing courtroom preparation with the administrative demands of running a small law office.

Brannen's approach to work is practical. He breaks complex problems into steps that clients can understand. He prioritizes clear communication and timely updates. That approach influences how the firm structures its files and how it prepares for hearings.

Outside the office he maintains ties to his alma maters and to the broader legal community in North Carolina. Those connections inform how the firm recruits and how it engages with younger lawyers entering the profession. He stays active in professional networks that keep him current on state rules and procedural changes.

He practices through Brannen Law, Pllc and serves clients throughout North Carolina. He currently concentrates his practice at Brannen Law, Pllc, serving clients across North Carolina.
