About Conner

Conner Eldridge began his academic path at Davidson College, where he completed undergraduate studies before turning to law. He earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Those years shaped a straightforward approach to legal work: careful preparation, attention to procedure and an eye for the details that matter in court filings and hearings.

After law school he moved into federal practice. In 2010 he served as a United States lawyer in the Western District of Arkansas. Records provided list that service year and district; they do not provide a full job title or an exhaustive account of duties. While in federal court settings, he handled tasks that commonly fall to lawyers working in that system: drafting pleadings, preparing for hearings and working with prosecutors, defense counsel and court staff on case management.

The arc of his early career shows a steady involvement in government-related legal work. That phase exposed him to the rhythms of federal litigation and to the constraints of practice in a busy federal district. It also required adapting to fast-moving schedules, strict filing deadlines and the formalities of courtroom procedure. Those experiences shaped the way he approaches client matters later in his career.

Colleagues describe his courtroom manner as direct. He favors plain, clear argument over elaborate rhetoric. On paper his briefs tend to emphasize factual clarity and procedural precision. In hearings he aims to keep points concise and to address the judge’s concerns without digression. Those habits come from time spent in federal court and from early responsibilities in the Western District of Arkansas.

Outside the courtroom he has shown an interest in the organizational side of legal work. He has experience preparing case files, coordinating discovery schedules and managing filings under local rules. These practical skills often determine how smoothly a case proceeds and how well a client’s position is presented to the court.

At present he is in private practice in Arkansas. He has continued to work on matters that require litigation experience and familiarity with federal court procedures. He now concentrates his practice on litigation in Arkansas.
