About Collin R.
Collin R. Moore earned a B.S. from California State University, Northridge and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Those two institutions shaped his early thinking about law and public policy. He moved from academic study into practice in California, where he is admitted to the state bar.
He began his legal career shortly after law school, working in settings that required both courtroom work and client counseling. Over time he handled pleadings, motions, discovery and other routine litigation tasks. He also spent significant time on legal research and drafting, responsibilities that often fall to junior and mid-level attorneys but that also build the core skills of a lawyer.
Moore’s record in the office is marked by steady attention to detail. He approaches matters with methodical preparation. That preparation shows up in written work — briefs, motions and client memoranda — and in courtroom readiness. Colleagues describe him as someone who plans hearings deliberately and prepares witnesses carefully.
He has practical experience in negotiating resolutions and in representing clients in hearings and trials. Those experiences taught him how to weigh risk and to present options to clients in plain language. He also learned how to adapt strategy when facts change or new information appears. The courtroom is where many of those adaptations are tested.
Outside of litigation, Moore has advised clients on day-to-day legal issues that affect business operations and personal affairs. He has handled transactional paperwork, contract review, and compliance-related questions. That work demands an ability to translate legal concepts into actionable steps for clients.
His professional demeanor is concise and businesslike. He favors clear communication over flourish. That makes him practical for clients who need straightforward answers and durable solutions.
Moore continues to practice in California. He maintains an active caseload and provides counsel to clients on a range of legal matters in state courts and administrative forums. He currently practices in California, handling a variety of legal matters.
