About Collin
Collin Mettelka earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2016 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, where he received a B.A. in English and International Studies in 2012. His academic path combined humanities and global perspectives, and it set the stage for a legal career rooted in careful analysis and clear writing.
After law school he began practicing in Wisconsin. He joined Moustakis & Mettelka, LLC and, by 2017, was serving as a partner at the firm. That rapid move into partnership suggests a practice built around steady client work and hands-on case management. He maintains current professional memberships and stays engaged with the legal community in the state.
At the firm he took on responsibilities that ranged from client counseling to case preparation. His background in English contributes to detailed brief-writing and careful drafting. Colleagues describe him as methodical in research and direct in courtroom or negotiation settings. He balances attention to procedural detail with a practical sense for resolving disputes.
Mettelka’s work has been shaped by courtroom practice, transactional tasks and the routine demands of running a small firm. He has handled matters that require both written advocacy and in-person representation. Over the years he has built experience managing files, preparing witnesses, and advising clients about the options available under Wisconsin law. He also participates in continuing legal education and local bar activities.
The firm’s office is located at 219 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 1934. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and conducts his practice from that base. He currently focuses on representing clients through his role as partner at Moustakis & Mettelka, LLC.
