About Cody L.
Cody L. Frank earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2015 after completing a B.S. in political science at Florida State University in 2011, where he also studied economics as a minor. His education combined traditional legal training with coursework in government and analytical methods. He later pursued professional training in dispute resolution and negotiation at Pepperdine and Harvard law programs.
Frank began practicing soon after law school. In 2016 he worked as a litigation lawyer at Gonzalez & Goetz, LLC, gaining experience in trial preparation and case strategy. The following year he moved into appellate work at Boldt Law Office, P.A., where he drafted briefs and participated in appellate research and oral argument preparation. Those roles gave him exposure to both the trial court and appellate processes.
In 2019 Frank held two roles that year: he was listed as an associate lawyer at Brown Sims and also served as managing lawyer at Frank Law Office, P.A. He has maintained membership in the Broward County Bar Association since 2018 and is a member of the American Bar Association. His membership activity has kept him engaged with local and national professional networks.
Beyond courtroom experience, Frank pursued certificates in dispute resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law and in negotiation and leadership from Harvard Law School. Those programs emphasized mediation practice, interest-based negotiation techniques, and leadership in client negotiations. The training supplements his litigation background and informs how he handles settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution sessions.
Frank is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. His work over the years has covered civil litigation and appellate matters, and it reflects a blend of written advocacy and negotiated resolutions. Colleagues describe him as someone who balances case preparation with efforts to resolve disputes outside the courtroom when appropriate.
As of 2026 Frank is practicing at Brown Sims. His current practice centers on civil litigation, appellate work and alternative dispute resolution.
