About Cody
Cody Galaher attended Mississippi College School of Law, where he completed his legal education before entering practice. He moved from the classroom to the courthouse and the clerk’s chambers, building the kind of foundation many lawyers seek early in their careers.
Galaher served as a judicial law clerk at the Mississippi Court of Appeals. In that role he worked inside the appellate system during a formative stage of his career. The clerkship exposed him to appellate procedure and the process of judicial decision-making.
After his time on the bench, Galaher joined BLINK LAW, NASHVILLE LLC as an associate lawyer. He practices in Tennessee and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. At the firm he handles matters that arise in state and federal courts, combining his appellate experience with trial-court practice.
Outside casework, Galaher maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He also holds membership in the Federalist Society. Those memberships keep him connected to peers across practice areas and to developments in the law.
Peers and colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach. He has worked on briefing and courtroom matters that reflect both his clerkship background and his current firm responsibilities. Colleagues at BLINK LAW, NASHVILLE LLC rely on his familiarity with appellate filings and federal-court procedure when cases require cross-jurisdictional attention.
Galaher’s path reflects a steady progression through public and private legal roles. He moved from the appellate court to a private-practice environment in Nashville. The shift brought him into regular contact with litigants, opposing counsel and the judges who decide their disputes.
He continues to participate in bar activities and professional groups while managing a caseload at BLINK LAW, NASHVILLE LLC. That combination of membership and practice keeps him engaged with both the nuts-and-bolts work of litigation and broader legal conversations in Tennessee and beyond.
He currently practices at BLINK LAW, NASHVILLE LLC, handling matters in state and federal courts.
