About Clint
Clint James grew up connected to two fields that shaped his path: agriculture and the public square. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 2007. He then moved into legal studies and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2012.
He began his legal career soon after law school. In 2013 he joined The Firm on Baltimore as a partner, a role that came early in his professional life. Four years later he took a position at Wyatt Law Office as a lawyer. Those moves reflect a steady progression from a small, partnership role to practicing under the WYATT LAW OFFICE, P.C. banner.
Throughout his career James has remained active in local and statewide professional circles. He has been a member of the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2012. He also holds membership in the Tulsa County Bar Association, also since 2012. Those memberships have kept him connected to peers and to developments in Oklahoma criminal law practice.
His work centers on cases in Oklahoma courts. James has handled matters on behalf of people facing criminal charges and has prepared cases for hearings and trials. He takes older courtroom experience and blends it with the everyday tasks of case preparation, client counseling and courtroom appearances. He has practiced in a range of proceedings that criminal defense lawyers commonly encounter in the state system.
Colleagues describe him as someone who approaches each file with an eye for the practical issues that matter to clients. He is experienced in the procedural aspects of criminal litigation and attentive to the deadlines and motions that can shape outcomes. In routine and contested settings he follows the steps necessary to present a client's position to prosecutors and judges.
Today James practices at WYATT LAW OFFICE, P.C., where he represents clients in criminal matters across Oklahoma. He maintains his long-standing ties to the state bar groups that reflect his chosen area of practice. He focuses on criminal defense in Oklahoma.
