About Clayton

Clayton Bryant trained in Texas. He earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and completed his J.D. at St. Mary s University School of Law in 2007. Those steps led directly into practice in the state where he now appears on a number of professional rosters.

He joined the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and has maintained active membership since then. Early in his career he worked at the Law Office of Cindy V. Tisdale, beginning the same year he finished law school. That period gave him courtroom time and exposure to client work that would shape his approach to family and municipal matters.

In 2012 he took on the role of municipal prosecutor for the City of Glen Rise, a position he continues to hold. The municipal docket has offered regular experience in arraignments, ordinance matters and local hearings. He also became involved in nonprofit and local bar leadership around that time, serving as president of Kids Armor of Hope in 2012 and later as president of the Hood County Bar Association for 2014.

Bryant’s involvement in professional organizations is broad. He has been a member of the Texas Family Law Foundation since 2011 and became a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 2013. From 2013 to 2019 he served on the State Bar Grievance Committee for District 14. Those roles reflect a pattern of participation in the institutions that govern and support Texas lawyers.

In 2023 he joined Goranson Bain Ausley as a family law lawyer. That move placed him within a firm setting after years of combining municipal prosecutorial duties, bar service and earlier private practice. At Goranson Bain Ausley he handles domestic relations matters that include divorce proceedings, custody disputes and related financial issues.

His style in practice is shaped by sustained local involvement. He has worked on municipal matters for more than a decade while also engaging in family law practice. Colleagues and clients see him most often in courtrooms and hearings across Texas, and he remains active in bar and community organizations.

He is currently licensed and active in Texas and practices family law at Goranson Bain Ausley while continuing municipal prosecutor duties for the City of Glen Rise.
