About Clayeo C
Clayeo C Arnold graduated from Lincoln University School of Law in 1975 and opened his own practice the same year. He founded Arnold Law Office and has led it since its inception. The decision to start a practice straight out of law school set the course for a long career in trial work and civil litigation.
After law school, Arnold built a courtroom practice that spans multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted in California, Colorado and New York, and he holds admission to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions allowed him to take on cases that cross state lines and to appear in some of the nation’s highest fora.
Leadership in the legal community has been a steady theme in Arnold’s career. He served as president of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association and remained on its board for 21 years. He is active in local and national bar groups, including the Sacramento County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to organizations aimed at plaintiffs’ trial work, such as the Consumer Lawyers of California, the American Association for Justice, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Arnold’s memberships include groups that emphasize courtroom advocacy and peer recognition. He is an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is listed with Super Lawyers and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Those affiliations reflect a practice centered on trial litigation and significant civil claims, rather than an office-based transactional emphasis.
Colleagues describe him as experienced in managing complex cases from investigation through trial. He has spent decades trying cases and preparing evidence for juries and judges. He has also worked to mentor younger lawyers through bar association activities and local trial lawyer groups.
The Arnold Law Office remains his professional base. He leads a practice that has been in continuous operation since 1975 and that handles civil litigation across the states where he is admitted. He maintains an active calendar of trials and pre-trial work, representing clients in courtroom proceedings and related litigation tasks.
He currently practices at Arnold Law Office, handling trial and civil litigation matters.
