About Claudia Vanessa
Claudia Vanessa Cubias built a legal path that ties classroom study to courtroom work. She earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2019 after studying comparative and international law there. Earlier, she completed a B.S. in Criminal Justice at Texas Wesleyan University in 2014. Those two strands — criminal justice and international law — mark much of her early professional profile.
Her first position after law school was as a lawyer at Jaime Barron PC in 2019. She moved into private practice the following year when she joined Bailey and Galyen as an associate lawyer in 2020. The shift came quickly. The roles show a lawyer who moved straight from academic preparation into practical legal work and has remained in firm practice since.
Cubias’s academic background informs her approach. Her undergraduate degree provided a foundation in criminal justice concepts and procedure. At Saint Louis University School of Law she engaged with comparative approaches to international legal issues.
