Ms. Reis earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 2001. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Theater, and Women's Studies at Rutgers University in 1995. During her time at law school, she served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Program, enhancing her skills in legal analysis and writing. Additionally, she held the position of Notes and Comments Editor for the Computer and Technology Law Journal, where she contributed to the publication's focus on emerging legal issues in technology. Before co-founding Lenzo & Reis, LLC, Ms. Reis worked defending and counseling both government agencies and corporate clients.
This background provided her with a unique perspective on employment law. As a result, the attorney can effectively advocate for employees. By anticipating and countering defense strategies, she has developed a reputation for being a advocate in the legal arena. Her experience allows her to navigate complex legal fields, making her a trusted advisor for her clients. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Reis is actively involved in several professional organizations that reflect her commitment to the legal community. Since 2012, she has served as the President of the National Employment Lawyers Association – New Jersey chapter, where she has worked to advance the interests of employees throughout the state.
Furthermore, she is a member of both the Labor & Employment Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. Her dedication to mentorship and professional development is evident in her role as a Barrister in The Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court. Ms. Reis is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also certified as an Arbitrator, further enhancing her legal expertise. Her dedication to her clients and the legal profession has been recognized by her peers; she has been included in the Thomson Reuters list of New Jersey Super Lawyers and/or Rising Stars in the practice areas of labor and employment law and plaintiffs' employment litigation since 2006.
