About Claire

Claire Langton-Yanowitz earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2007 after completing a B.A. at Carleton College the same year. Her academic path combined liberal arts and legal training, a pairing that has informed the practical side of her work ever since. Classrooms in Minnesota and a liberal arts campus provided a foundation in critical thinking and written argument that she carried into her early practice years.

After law school she moved into private practice. Over time she gathered experience managing client matters across the life cycle of a case. That work included advising clients, preparing documents, and appearing in hearings. She built a day-to-day familiarity with legal procedure and client counseling that shaped how she approaches problems now.

Her professional development has been steady rather than theatrical. She learned to break down complex issues into plain terms. She learned to set priorities under pressure and to prepare thoroughly for each step of a matter. Colleagues and clients have described her work as methodical and focused on practical results rather than slogans or promises.

Claire practices under the name Yanowitz Law Office, PLLC. At that firm she handles an array of legal tasks that require close attention to detail and clear communication. Her files reflect steady legal work: pleadings, negotiations, client advisals and the routine but necessary tasks that move matters forward. She has maintained a practice that is responsive to the schedules and documents that most legal matters demand.

Outside of filings and hearings she has stayed connected to the legal community through continuing education and regular professional engagement. She keeps current on changes in law and procedure relevant to her work. That continuity of effort shows in the way she prepares for court dates, drafts agreements and meets deadlines.

She currently practices at Yanowitz Law Office, PLLC, where her work focuses on providing practical legal services to her clients and managing their matters from intake through resolution.
