Cindi R — Brandt is an employment attorney based in Morristown, New Jersey. She earned her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northwestern University in 1984. Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1987, Ms. Brandt has over three decades of experience in employment law.
She is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association's New Jersey chapter. Ms. Brandt co-founded Baydin & Brandt in 2000, focusing on representing employees in various employment-related matters. Her practice areas include wrongful termination, harassment, hostile work environment, whistleblower claims, unemployment, and discrimination based on age, sex, religion, race, nationality, national origin, pregnancy, and disability.
Prior to establishing her firm, she spent 12 years at Kronish, Lieb, Weiner & Hellman (now Cooley LLP) in New York City. There, she led an 800-plus member class action representing parking garage employees in a labor and ERISA case, resulting in industry-wide changes to health and pension benefits. She also successfully briefed and argued before the Second Circuit, leading to a ruling that impacted healthcare facilities across New York State. Ms.
Brandt has been recognized for her expertise and dedication to employment law. She has lectured to lawyers and civic groups on various employment law topics and has co-authored articles in ABA publications. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors as Vice-President of the FD/MAS Alliance and is the Team Captain of the Million Dollar Bike Ride for Rare Diseases at the University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in English and conversational Spanish.
