About Christopher
Christopher Worth studied international affairs before turning to law. He graduated from Boston College in 2002 with a B.A. in International Studies and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2009. Those years set the stage for a career that moves between large-firm practice, court work and front-line immigration services.
Fresh out of law school, he spent a year as a pro bono law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. That role exposed him to appellate procedure and the work of federal judges. In 2010 he joined Clifford Chance US LLP as an associate. The stint at the firm gave him experience in a structured transactional and litigation environment.
In 2013 he shifted toward public-interest law, becoming a staff lawyer in the Immigration Unit at My Sisters' Place. There he worked directly with clients in immigration matters and operated inside an organizational model oriented to serving vulnerable populations. That year marked a clearer turn toward immigration practice in his career trajectory.
The next year he opened The Law Office of Christopher Worth. Since 2014 he has run that practice as its principal lawyer. The office draws on his prior experience at a federal court, at a global law firm and in a community-based legal unit. He has combined those threads into a private practice that handles immigration matters for individuals and families.
Worth maintains professional memberships that reflect his practice interests. He has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2013. He joined the Suffolk County Bar Association in 2014 and became involved with the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild in 2016. Those affiliations connect him to both local bar work and national immigration policy conversations.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the District of Columbia. In his office he manages casework, represents clients before immigration authorities and provides advice on immigration-related options. His work balances courtroom experience, firm training and public-interest practice.
As of 2026 he continues to operate The Law Office of Christopher Worth, handling immigration matters and related legal services for clients in New York and the District of Columbia.
