He then transitioned to a role as a staff attorney at the Brazos County District Court from 1998 to 2002. In this capacity, he assisted with civil and probate cases, adding to his legal expertise. His experience in both private practice and the judicial system gave him a unique perspective on the law. Active in his community, Chris is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Brazos County Bar Association. He has been recognized for his community involvement, including serving as President of the Bryan School Board and as a Ruling Elder for Westminster Presbyterian Church.
