About Christopher
Christopher Watters built a legal foundation on the West Coast. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2004. He went on to attend San Joaquin College of Law, where he completed his Juris Doctor in 2007.
After law school he moved quickly into private practice. In 2007 he joined the firm Miles, Sears & Eanni as a lawyer and partner. Over the years he has maintained an active presence in the courtroom and the local legal community. He is admitted to practice in California and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
Watters has been active in regional and statewide bar groups since the start of his career. His memberships include the Fresno County Bar Association and the Kings County Bar Association, and he is a member of the Central California Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumer Lawyers of California. He also holds membership in the American Bar Association. Those associations reflect regular engagement with peers on practice issues, litigation trends, and court procedure.
Colleagues describe his work as practical and procedural. He handles litigation matters that proceed in both state and federal venues, and he has worked on contested hearings, motion practice, and trial preparation. His work often requires coordinating discovery, briefing complex motions, and preparing witnesses for deposition and trial. He appears in the Eastern District of California when federal litigation is involved, and he manages cases in the state courts that serve the Central Valley.
Outside the courtroom he participates in bar activities and local legal events. Since 2007 he has been listed as a member of several professional groups that serve the Fresno and Kings County legal communities. That ongoing participation keeps him connected to developments in trial practice and consumer protection law.
Over two decades in practice have kept him focused on litigation and courtroom work rather than transactional matters. He continues to serve clients through Miles, Sears & Eanni, applying courtroom experience and procedural knowledge to disputes brought in state and federal court. He currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation in California and in the Eastern District of California.
