About Christopher S.
Christopher S. Livas earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2015. His time in law school coincided with practical work in financial services, including internships in account services and consumer lending at Baxter Credit Union. Those early positions exposed him to regulatory and transactional problems at the front line of consumer credit.
He cut his teeth in court and in chambers while still a student. In 2013 he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Clare E. McWilliams and worked as a law clerk at Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz. Those roles gave him experience handling filings, research memos and courtroom preparation. After graduating, he joined Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz as an associate in 2015 and continued to develop his litigation and client-service skills.
By 2019 Livas took on a distinct role as a lawyer in the Livas Law Group, a division of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz. The move formalized a team identity around his practice while remaining connected to the resources of the larger firm. Over the years at the firm he has balanced casework, client intake and the day-to-day tasks that keep a practice moving.
His professional registration is in Illinois. The record shows steady progression from internships to clerkship, externship, associate role and then to leading a named division. That path reflects a mix of courtroom exposure and consumer finance background. It also reflects work inside a mid-size litigation practice where managing calendars and coordinating with co-counsel are regular parts of the job.
Outside of case files, Livas has remained engaged with colleagues and the firm’s structure. He is listed as a member of at least one professional association. His background in consumer lending, coupled with litigation experience at Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz, informs how he approaches disputes and client counseling. He writes and prepares pleadings and participates in hearings, relying on the practical lessons learned early in his career.
Today he practices through the Livas Law Group, a division of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz. He is licensed in Illinois and works from the firm’s offices, handling client matters that draw on both his consumer-lending experience and his litigation practice. His current practice focuses on client representation within the firm’s established areas of work.
