About Christopher P.
Christopher P. Arnold began his path to law after earning a B.S. from Florida State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He moved steadily from classroom to courthouse. The degrees gave him the credentials. The work that followed shaped how he practices today.
Early in his career he worked in the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in 2013. That role placed him in front of juries and judges at the trial level. It exposed him to courtroom procedures, client advocacy, and the pressures of time-sensitive criminal work. Those years tested courtroom preparation and tactical judgment.
In 2015 he joined the Office of the Lawyer General for the State of Florida. That position brought a different set of responsibilities. He handled matters that required familiarity with state regulatory frameworks and representation of public interests. The switch from defense work to a state legal office broadened his view of how public and private interests intersect in litigation and appeals.
Arnold is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That combination allows him to address matters at both the trial and appellate levels. He has worked on cases that move through state court systems and, when appropriate, into federal appellate review. The dual admission reflects a practice that crosses jurisdictional lines rather than being confined to a single venue.
He holds membership in the Hillsborough County Bar Association and remains active there. Local bar involvement keeps him connected to peers and to developments in Florida law. It also ties him to the community where many of his cases arise.
Today Arnold is affiliated with Allen Dell, P.A. He practices out of that office and handles matters that require court appearances, brief writing, and client counseling. His background in both a public defender’s office and the state’s lawyer general office informs how he evaluates cases and prepares for litigation.
People who work with him describe a lawyer who is methodical and pragmatic in court preparation. He balances the mechanics of litigation—deadlines, filings, evidence—with the strategic choices that shape a case’s outcome. He continues to appear in Florida state courts and before the Eleventh Circuit as his work requires.
He currently practices at Allen Dell, P.A., representing clients in matters before Florida courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
