Christopher Nicolaysen earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2001 and later completed his J.D. at the University of Denver in 2013. Those academic steps bridged a gap between a liberal-arts undergraduate education and formal legal training.
