About Christopher
Christopher Huether has spent his legal career centered in Minnesota. He combines a Midwestern education and steady advancement at a regional firm. The result is a practice rooted in the communities he serves.
He earned his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota School of Law in 2004. Before law school he completed a B.A. at the University of Minnesota — Morris in 2001, studying psychology and business management. Those early academic choices inform both how he approaches client problems and how he manages the day-to-day work of a small firm.
Huether joined Leuthner Law Office as an associate in 2007. Four years later he became a partner and the firm became Leuthner & Huether, Ltd. That progression reflects steady growth in responsibility. As partner since 2011 he has shared in running the firm and overseeing client matters across its offices.
He is licensed in Minnesota and admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit. His professional memberships include the Minnesota Bar Association and the Douglas County Bar Association, where he maintains an active presence. He also belongs to the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers, a sign of his engagement with consumer bankruptcy issues and related practice areas.
Outside the courtroom he is involved in several local organizations. He has served on the board of directors for WINGS since 2009, and he holds a membership in Sertoma. He has also been active in Alexandria Area Young Professionals, serving as vice-president since 2009. Those roles underscore a pattern of civic involvement that runs alongside his legal work.
At Leuthner & Huether, Ltd., Huether practices from the firm’s Alexandria and Morris offices. He works on matters commonly brought to a regional practice, including consumer bankruptcy-related cases and other client issues that arise in central Minnesota. He continues to maintain memberships in professional associations and to participate in local nonprofit and business organizations.
He currently practices at Leuthner & Huether, Ltd., handling consumer bankruptcy and related matters from the firm's Alexandria and Morris offices.
