About Christopher
Christopher Hancock built a legal career that follows a steady, upward arc. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, completing the degree in 2004. He later completed his Juris Doctor at Florida A&M University College of Law in 2010. Those academic foundations inform the work he does with clients and in court.
He began practicing law shortly after law school. In 2011 he joined Morris Legal Group, PLLC as an associate lawyer. A year later he moved into a leadership role as managing partner at Morris & Hancock, P.A. That shift was followed by a 2015 position as managing partner of McCreary & Hancock, P.A., and in 2016 he became managing partner at Hancock & Associates, P.A. The sequence of roles shows a rapid transition from associate to firm leadership over a handful of years.
Hancock is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in state court and to take certain appeals to federal courts. He also maintains involvement in several bar and professional groups in the Central Florida legal community.
His professional memberships include the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Adoption Council, the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association. Those affiliations suggest regular engagement with matters that arise in family and adoption law, and with bankruptcy issues that intersect with litigation and trial work. He participates in the local bar community and attends meetings and events tied to those organizations.
Hancock has split his time between leading Hancock & Associates, P.A. and an association with Walk Law Office, P.A. His roles have involved managing firm operations as well as direct client representation. Colleagues and clients see him handling case strategy, courtroom preparation, and day-to-day client counseling as part of his responsibilities.
He continues to maintain an active practice in Central Florida. His work encompasses family law and adoption matters alongside bankruptcy-related cases, and he represents clients in state and federal proceedings where permitted. He currently serves as managing partner of Hancock & Associates, P.A., and practices through Walk Law Office, P.A., concentrating on family, adoption and bankruptcy work.
