About Christopher D.
Christopher D. Robison earned his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans in 1999 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Cincinnati in 1994. Those years framed a traditional path into the law — undergraduate study followed by three years in law school — and provided the academic foundation for a career spent practicing in Virginia.
After graduating from Loyola, Robison moved into private practice and established himself in Virginia. He is admitted to practice in that state and has spent his career operating within its courts and regulatory framework. Over time he transitioned from associate roles to running his own practice, carrying the responsibilities that come with solo and small-firm practice: case intake, client counseling, courtroom advocacy and the day-to-day management of a law office.
At The Robison Law Office, PLC, he handles a range of matters for individuals and businesses that arise under Virginia law. His work involves both contested matters that end up in court and negotiated resolutions outside of litigation. He manages cases from initial consultation through resolution, which can include pleadings, discovery, hearings and settlement discussions. Colleagues and clients describe him as practical and straightforward in his handling of legal problems.
Robison’s background in political science informs his approach to legal questions. He pays attention to the statutory and policy context of a case as well as the immediate facts. That perspective can shape strategy in court and at the negotiating table. He also draws on nearly three decades of experience since law school, which has exposed him to a steady variety of procedural and substantive issues in Virginia practice.
Running a small law office requires a mix of legal skill and business management. Robison balances client work with administrative duties. He oversees case staffing, client communications and the operational side of the firm. The Robison Law Office, PLC serves clients across Virginia and provides individualized attention that smaller practices can offer.
He remains based in Virginia and continues to accept matters through his firm. He currently practices at The Robison Law Office, PLC, handling legal matters for clients in Virginia.
