About Christopher
Christopher Carbine grew up in Louisiana and built his academic foundation in political science before turning to law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2007. He then attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and received his J.D. in 2014. Those years in school shaped his interest in courtroom work and state law practice.
After law school, Carbine joined Martzell, Bickford & Centola as an associate in 2015. He worked on civil litigation matters and gained courtroom experience at a busy plaintiff’s firm. Colleagues from that period describe him as methodical in case preparation and steady under pressure. He spent several years developing trial skills and learning the rhythms of litigation in Louisiana courts.
In 2019 he started his own practice and founded CARBINE LAW FIRM LLC. Establishing a firm gave him control over case selection and client communication. He built a small practice that handles litigation matters across the state. Running a firm required shifting between trial work and business duties. He splits his time between courtroom strategy and the administrative tasks of firm management.
Clients and other lawyers note that Carbine’s courtroom approach is straightforward. He prepares testimony, prioritizes clear themes, and focuses on evidence that will resonate with judges and juries. He has handled a range of civil matters and continues to refine trial techniques learned early in his career. He stays engaged with developments in Louisiana law and applies state procedure and precedent to everyday case decisions.
Outside the courtroom he maintains professional ties in Louisiana’s legal community. He keeps connections from both his undergraduate and law school years. Those networks provide referrals and occasional co-counsel relationships. He also mentors younger attorneys who are starting their own practices or preparing for trial work.
As of 2026, Carbine practices in Louisiana through CARBINE LAW FIRM LLC. His current practice concentrates on civil litigation and trial work in state courts.
