About Christopher A.

Christopher A. Sisk built his legal path through two Louisiana universities before establishing himself in private practice. He earned a B.A. in political science from Louisiana State University in 2009 and completed his J.D. at Loyola University New Orleans in 2012. Those years in Baton Rouge and New Orleans shaped his understanding of state institutions and the contours of public law.

After law school, Sisk entered practice and now works as a lawyer at Grand Law Office. He splits his time between the firm’s Metairie and Baton Rouge offices. Colleagues describe him as steady and procedural; he handles the day-to-day demands that come with litigation and client representation across multiple forums.

Sisk is admitted to practice in Louisiana and is also authorized to appear in federal appellate courts. His admissions include the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Federal Circuit. Those qualifications allow him to take cases beyond state trial courts and to participate in appellate briefing and argument when matters move up the chain.

The work he handles spans trials and appeals. He files pleadings, prepares briefs for appellate review, and appears in hearings when cases require in-person advocacy. He also coordinates with clients and other counsel when matters cross jurisdictional lines, moving between state procedures and federal rules as needed. The role demands attention to both the technical and procedural aspects of litigation, and Sisk’s practice reflects that balance.

Throughout his career he has kept a local anchor. Living and working in Louisiana has kept him close to the communities he serves and the courts where he regularly appears. Operating out of two offices gives him a geographic reach that covers the greater New Orleans region as well as the state capital, allowing for responsiveness in matters that require court appearances or client meetings across different jurisdictions.

He maintains his practice at Grand Law Office, handling matters in Louisiana courts and in federal courts including the Fifth and Federal Circuits.
