About Christine
Christine Scartz earned her undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia in 1991, then turned to law at the University of Georgia School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1994. Those formative years set the foundation for a practice rooted in Georgia’s courts and legal culture. She built legal fundamentals in law school and carried them into practice across the state.
Her early professional experience included a role as an associate at the Law Office of Mike Bothwell beginning in 1997. In that position she worked in a small-firm environment and learned the practical demands of client work, case preparation and courtroom procedure. Those years offered direct exposure to the daily rhythms of legal practice and to the responsibilities of representing individuals and businesses in state matters.
In 2010 she launched her own solo practice, operating as Christine Scartz, Esq. Running a solo office required juggling casework, client intake, and the administrative side of a law practice. She handled the practical tasks that come with solo practice, from drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements to advising clients on procedural strategy. The experience reinforced a hands-on approach to managing cases and cultivating attorney-client relationships.
Later she began work at Daniels & Taylor, P.C., where she continued to practice law in Georgia. She also maintains a current membership in a professional association, reflecting ongoing engagement with the legal community and professional standards. Her career path shows movement between small-firm roles, solo practice and partnership practice, offering a broad perspective on how different practice settings operate.
She is licensed to practice in Georgia and bases her work in that jurisdiction. Her current practice at Daniels & Taylor, P.C. centers on representing clients in legal matters arising under Georgia law. She continues to handle casework, client counseling and courtroom matters as part of her ongoing practice in the state.
