About Christine Reeves

Christine Reeves Deutsch earned her law degree from the University of Michigan in 1992. She entered the legal profession at a time of brisk change in commercial practice. The degree set the stage for a career that has alternated between private firm work and public service.

Early in her career she joined Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP and became a partner there in 1993. That role placed her in a large-firm environment handling complex client matters. In 2006 she moved to WolfBlock LLP as a partner, continuing work on transactional and real estate issues. Her time in those firms gave her experience across deal work and negotiated matters, and it exposed her to the institutional practice of commercial law.

In 2009 she became a member of Cozen O'Connor, where she further developed her practice. The path then led her to public service. In 2012 she served as Divisional Deputy City Solicitor for the Philadelphia Law Department. That post involved municipal legal work and gave her direct experience with the intersection of local government and private development projects.

By 2015 she had established Deutsch Commercial Real Estate Law LLC. The firm became the platform for her return to private practice. Her professional record shows a pattern of moving between large firms and focused practice, and of applying municipal experience to commercial real estate matters. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and has worked on transactions that require coordination with local government, land use, and contractual partners.

Colleagues and clients have noted her steady presence on complex matters that involve multiple stakeholders. She has navigated large transactions, leasing arrangements, and regulatory touchpoints that often accompany urban development. She combines the processes learned at national firms with the hands-on demands of local projects handled during her municipal tenure.

Today she practices at Deutsch Commercial Real Estate Law LLC in Pennsylvania. Her current work centers on commercial real estate matters, including transactions and issues that intersect with municipal law.
