About Christine

Christine King began her legal journey after completing a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies at Kaplan University in 2003 and earning a Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2009. Her early training as a paralegal shaped a practical approach to case work. That foundation informed her transition into legal practice and the courtroom.

Her career moved from support roles into advocacy. She worked as a paralegal and later as an attorney at Shigley Law, PC beginning in 2018. Two years later she joined LoRusso Law Office, PC as a lawyer. The shift to LoRusso placed her in a small firm environment where case management and client communication are central parts of the day.

King’s memberships track a steady engagement with trial and plaintiff-side organizations. She has been a member of the American Association for Justice since 2018 and joined the Academy of Truck Accident Lawyers and the Cobb County Bar Association in 2021. She has also been part of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association since 2004. These affiliations indicate regular contact with trial lawyers and peers who handle serious civil claims.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and direct in court hearings. Her background as a paralegal often shows in the way she organizes file materials and prepares witnesses. She has handled matters that require detailed review of accident reports, medical records, and expert testimony. Her courtroom appearances are typically tied to contested liability and damages issues rather than transactional or regulatory work.

Clients and other lawyers note that King combines courtroom experience with hands-on case work. She spends time drafting pleadings and conducting discovery herself, rather than delegating all tasks. That approach can shorten response times and keep communication lines open. It also reflects the small-firm setting where attorneys often wear multiple hats.

Outside the office she stays involved in local bar activities through the Cobb County Bar Association. Her participation in national and specialty organizations keeps her connected to trends in trial practice, particularly those emerging in vehicle and trucking litigation.

She practices in Georgia and is based at LoRusso Law Office, PC. She currently handles civil trial matters, including vehicle and truck collision cases, at her firm.
