About Christine A.

Christine A. Kingston earned her Juris Doctor from Pacific Coast University School of Law in Long Beach in 2005. She moved into practice after law school and built a career concentrated in consumer bankruptcy matters. Her legal education in Southern California laid the groundwork for practice in local bankruptcy courts and for involvement in professional groups that focus on consumer debt relief.

Early in her career she joined the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers in 2009. She became a member of the Orange County Bar Association in 2011 and, that same year, joined the Board of Directors of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association. Those memberships have provided a steady platform for professional development and peer engagement over more than a decade.

Kingston’s day-to-day work centers on representing individuals in consumer bankruptcy cases. She handles client intake and counseling, prepares bankruptcy petitions and schedules, negotiates with creditors and represents clients at hearings. Her practice commonly involves Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings, dealing with automatic stays, discharge matters and issues that arise in bankruptcy administration.

She operates the Law Office of Christine A. Kingston. The small office model allows her to work directly with clients through each stage of a bankruptcy case. That structure also permits collaboration with trustees, creditors’ counsel and other professionals when a case requires broader coordination. Cases range from straightforward filings to matters that call for contested hearings and negotiated resolutions.

Alongside casework, Kingston has remained active in the professional community. Her ongoing memberships reflect sustained engagement with peers who practice consumer bankruptcy law. Serving on the board of a district-level bankruptcy attorneys association has involved helping shape events, educational programs and local professional initiatives that address developments in bankruptcy procedure and law.

Colleagues describe her as a practical practitioner who focuses on clear client communication and procedural detail. She keeps current through participation in association programs and by following changes in statutory and case law that affect consumer filings. She currently practices consumer bankruptcy law at the Law Office of Christine A. Kingston.
