About Christina Maria

Christina Maria Galarza grew up in an era when law schools were expanding clinical programs and courts were changing fast. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in 2013 and earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 2016. Those formative years left her comfortable in courthouse corridors and drafting rooms alike.

After law school she took the necessary steps to practice in both New Jersey and New York. She is admitted to the bars of those two states and holds an active membership in the State Bar of New Jersey. That dual admission lets her appear in matters across state lines and advise clients whose issues cross jurisdictional boundaries.

Galarza’s legal work has been shaped by the procedural demands of the two-state practice. She handles filings, motions and client counseling that require attention to differing court rules and timelines. Her training at Rutgers School of Law–Newark, which emphasized practical skills alongside doctrinal study, prepared her for that kind of detail-oriented work.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in the office and precise in written advocacy. She has participated in courtroom appearances and negotiations, and she spends time reviewing case law and statutes to support arguments. Her membership in the State Bar of New Jersey keeps her connected to continuing legal education and professional developments in the state.

Galarza currently practices at Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, O Cathain & O Cathain, LLC, where she manages client matters that arise in New Jersey and New York. In that setting she combines courtroom experience with transactional and advisory tasks. She prefers clear organization and concise legal writing, tools that often decide how a case moves through the system.

Outside of court calendars and client meetings, she remains tied to her Rutgers roots. Those early academic years continue to inform how she approaches problems: start with the facts, apply the law, and explain the outcome so a client understands the next steps. Her current practice is centered on representing clients in matters arising under New Jersey and New York law.
