About Christina Jayne

Christina Jayne Connolly arrived at law by way of a broad undergraduate course of study and a short stint in the service industry that she says shaped her approach to client work. She earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014 and completed her J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2021. Those years in school laid the groundwork for a practice oriented around public-interest law and direct client advocacy.

Her early work history includes jobs outside the law that taught practical skills. In 2016 she worked as a server for a local catering and events company. That role came before formal legal training but remains part of the story she brings to the courtroom and classroom—an ability to handle pressure and communicate clearly with people from many backgrounds.

Connolly’s legal experience began to take shape while she was still in law school. In the summer of 2020 she served as a law clerk at Disability Rights California, where she assisted on matters tied to disability advocacy. After graduation she transitioned into roles that combined litigation and teaching. In 2022 she joined East Bay Children Law Offices as a staff lawyer. That same year she also served as an adjunct professor at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, teaching and mentoring students entering public-interest practice.

Her career path shows a steady movement toward public-interest work, especially on issues that affect children and people with disabilities. Records indicate experience in agencies and nonprofit settings that handle dependency, education, and disability claims. She has handled case research, client interviews, and courtroom filings, and she has moved between direct representation and the educational side of the profession.

Colleagues describe her courtroom manner as deliberate and concise. She balances case preparation with classroom responsibilities, and she continues to refine courtroom strategy through hands-on work. She is licensed to practice in California and has maintained roles that keep her close to the client-facing aspects of family and disability law.

Connolly currently practices at East Bay Children Law Offices, where her work centers on legal issues that affect children and families, including dependency and disability-related matters.
