About Christian

Christian Albuquerque entered law school after completing a liberal arts degree that combined international studies and Portuguese. He earned a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 and continued his legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2021. Those academic years set the stage for a practice shaped by clinic work and hospital-based legal training.

While still a student, Albuquerque sought hands-on experience. He served as a student lawyer in the Texas A&M Law Immigrant Rights Clinic in 2019, assisting clients on immigration-related matters. In 2020 he worked in the Texas A&M Law Probate and Estate Planning Clinic, gaining exposure to estate administration and planning documents. That same year he was a legal extern for Parkland Hospital’s general counsel, where he encountered legal issues tied to healthcare providers and institutional settings. Earlier, in 2019, he held a law clerk position at Jim Ross Law Group.

After law school he moved into private practice. In 2021 he joined Stromberg Stock PLLC as an associate lawyer. The following year he accepted an associate role at Snellings Law. Those early years in firms allowed him to transition from clinic work to handling client matters in a firm environment.

Albuquerque’s path shows a mix of public-interest and private-practice experiences. Clinic placements introduced him to probate, estate planning, and immigrant rights matters. The Parkland externship added a hospital-legal perspective. Firm work has involved managing client files and drafting legal documents, and it has given him familiarity with litigation preparation and transactional tasks common to small-firm practice.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in file preparation and steady in courtroom or client-facing settings. He maintains professional memberships that began around the time he finished law school and continue into his practice years. Those memberships keep him connected to peers and to continuing legal education opportunities.

Albuquerque is licensed to practice in Texas. He lives and works in the state where he completed law school and built the foundation of his legal career. He remains based at Snellings Law PLLC, where his work draws on the probate, estate planning, immigration and healthcare matters that shaped his training. He practices at Snellings Law PLLC, handling matters related to probate, estate planning and civil law issues.
