About Christa
Christa Riggins earned her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2013 after completing a B.A. in Business Management at the University of Notre Dame in 2009. Her time at Notre Dame left her with a foundation in litigation and client service. She moved to Los Angeles to begin a legal career that combined courtroom work and client counseling.
She began as a law clerk and lawyer at the Los Angeles District Lawyer's Office in 2013. That role introduced her to public-facing litigation and courtroom procedure. In 2014 she joined The Schlehr Law Office, PC as a lawyer, handling matters that refined her trial skills and case management. A year later she launched Riggins Law, PC, opening a small firm in Los Angeles where she could structure the practice around individual client needs and civil litigation.
Her memberships trace a steady engagement with the bar and with specialty groups. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2014 and joined the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles in 2015. She also belongs to the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has maintained ties to the Notre Dame Law Association. These affiliations have kept her connected to both local bar developments and practice-specific networks.
Riggins’s practice reflects those associations. She handles employment matters, including wage-and-hour disputes and wrongful-termination claims, and represents individuals in consumer litigation. Her work often involves pretrial motion practice, discovery disputes and settlement negotiations. She represents clients in state court and appears on matters that require an understanding of California labor and consumer protection statutes.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and practical in settlement discussions. She has built a practice that blends courtroom readiness with attention to client priorities. Her office manages cases from intake through resolution, and she continues to take an active role in each stage of a file.
Riggins lives and practices in Los Angeles where she manages Riggins Law, P.C. She continues to participate in professional associations and to represent clients in employment and consumer matters. She currently practices employment and consumer law at Riggins Law, P.C.
