About Christa D.

Christa D. Banfield earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2010. She completed a rigorous course of study there during a period of significant change in national and state legal practice. The degree anchored her qualifications and provided a foundation for practicing law in Arizona.

She practices in Arizona and has maintained a steady presence in the state’s legal community since completing law school. Over the years she has worked on matters that require careful preparation and clear advocacy. She is a member of professional associations and participates in continuing legal education to stay current on procedural and substantive developments.

Banfield is licensed to practice in Arizona. Her courtroom experience and client work reflect a practical approach. She prepares pleadings, conducts hearings, and advises clients on the steps available to them under state law. Her work requires balancing technical legal requirements with the realities individual clients face.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation. She approaches each matter by identifying key factual points and organizing legal arguments around those facts. She values clear communication with clients. That means explaining options plainly, setting expectations about timing, and documenting decisions as cases move forward.

At Stewart Law Group she handles a varied caseload. Her responsibilities there include managing filings, appearing at hearings, and coordinating with other lawyers on joint matters. She works with clients to identify objectives and to develop strategies that respond to those objectives and to the law.

Outside of case work she keeps up professional ties through association membership and regular training. That activity supports her practice by ensuring she is familiar with changes in court rules and recent appellate decisions. It also gives her a network of peers to consult on complex or novel problems.

Her office practice is rooted in Arizona practice and procedure. She uses that grounding to help clients navigate the local courts and legal processes. She is currently practicing at Stewart Law Group, representing clients in matters arising under Arizona law.
