About Chris

Chris Strianese practices law across state lines. He holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, awarded in 2004 after beginning his legal studies in 2001. That academic foundation in New York City set the stage for a career that spans both the Northeast and the Southeast.

After law school he moved into active practice. Over the years he has maintained admissions in multiple jurisdictions, including New York and North Carolina. Those dual admissions allow him to work on matters that require knowledge of differing state rules and courtroom procedures. He has worked in firm settings and on his own, gaining experience in both transactional and contested matters.

Strianese founded Strianese PLLC and oversees the firm’s operations. Running a small firm requires attention to daily management as well as the legal work itself. He handles client intake, case strategy and courtroom preparation, and he coordinates with local counsel when matters cross state lines. His practice has involved appearances in state courts and administrative proceedings in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and careful in assessing legal risks. He is known for explaining legal options in practical terms and for preparing documents that reflect the procedural expectations of each state in which he appears. Those skills have mattered when matters required precise pleadings, timely filings and an understanding of state-specific evidentiary rules.

Outside the courtroom, he has focused on building a practice that can serve individuals and small businesses that have needs in more than one jurisdiction. That has included coordinating discovery across state boundaries and advising on compliance matters that differ between New York and North Carolina. He has also worked with clients on settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.

Chris Strianese continues to oversee matters at Strianese PLLC, representing clients under the laws of New York and North Carolina. He currently practices at Strianese PLLC and represents clients in cases and transactions in New York and North Carolina.
