About Chris

Chris Gribble built his path to law on a foundation in science. He earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from The Ohio State University in 2006, then completed a Master of Science in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. He returned to Berkeley for law school and received his J.D. in 2012. Those years in laboratories and classrooms shaped how he reads regulations and technical reports.

After law school, Gribble moved into practice in California. He is admitted to the California bar and has handled matters that require careful attention to technical detail. His background in chemistry has often informed the questions he asks on a file, and it has made complex scientific evidence more accessible to clients and opposing counsel alike. He has worked on cases and transactions where translating science into clear legal arguments mattered.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in approach. He breaks large problems into smaller pieces and tests each one. That style reflects his scientific training. It also shows up in how he structures pleadings and prepares witnesses. He aims for clarity in written work and clarity in courtroom explanations. He prefers direct prose over legal flourishes.

Gribble practices at Gribble Legal Counsel in California. There, he handles matters that cross the line between law and science. Clients come to him when a technical issue needs careful legal analysis. He reviews data, prepares technical reports for legal use, and works with outside experts when specialized knowledge is required.

Outside the office he has continued ties to academic communities where science and law intersect. He occasionally speaks to students and professional groups about careers that combine both disciplines. He currently practices at Gribble Legal Counsel, advising clients on legal matters that involve scientific and technical issues.
