About Chris

Chris Fiori built his legal foundation in Florida classrooms and courtrooms. He earned an associate degree from Hillsborough Community College in 2003, a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 2005 and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2009. Those years shaped a practical approach to law that blends courtroom procedure with alternative dispute resolution methods.

After completing law school, he entered the Florida legal community. Over time he added formal training in mediation and earned certifications from the Florida Supreme Court as both a Circuit Civil Mediator and a Family Law Mediator. Those credentials anchor much of his work. They allow him to move cases out of congested dockets and toward negotiated resolutions when circumstances allow. He is equally comfortable preparing cases for trial when settlement is not an option.

Fiori holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in state rules and regional practice. Participation in local and statewide bar activities also informs his handling of procedural issues that often determine case strategy.

His practice sits at the intersection of civil litigation and family law. He handles contested matters that require familiarity with circuit court procedure, and he serves as a neutral mediator in both civil and family law disputes. The mediation certifications from the state supreme court reflect formal recognition of his qualifications to oversee settlements in those areas. Clients see him frequently in pretrial conferences, settlement negotiations and mediation sessions.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach. He assesses risks and crafts options rather than promising outcomes. He prepares thoroughly for hearings and mediations. Preparation includes detailed review of pleadings and evidence, and assembling realistic timelines for clients. He favors clarity in communication. He explains the trade-offs involved in a settlement versus continued litigation.

Outside formal memberships, his professional life remains rooted in Florida law. He keeps up with changes to state procedural rules and with family law developments that affect mediation practice. That steady attention to the law informs his courtroom work and his neutral role at the mediation table. He currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation, family law matters and court-approved mediation in Florida.
