About Chessie

Chessie Robinson began her path to the law at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She completed the coursework and clinical experiences common to the program and left law school prepared to begin practice. Her legal education provided grounding in core areas of practice and introduced the practical skills that many attorneys use day to day.

Early in her career she moved into the practice of law. Over time she handled a range of matters that required courtroom preparation, client counseling, and document drafting. She has worked on cases and transactions that required persuasive advocacy, careful attention to procedural detail, and clear legal writing. Those experiences shaped how she approaches each new matter: methodically, with attention to the facts and the governing law.

Robinson’s work style favors clarity and direct communication. She explains legal options plainly and outlines likely next steps for clients. In contested matters she prepares evidence and arguments to be heard in court, and in nonlitigious matters she focuses on minimizing risk and resolving issues efficiently. Colleagues describe her as practical in approach; she balances legal analysis with the needs of the people involved.

She maintains professional memberships in bar and legal organizations, staying current on developments in the law through continuing education and peer exchanges. That activity supports ongoing practice and helps her track changes in statute and case law that affect client matters. While she does not rely on past formulas, she draws on prior experience when confronting familiar legal issues.

Outside the office she devotes time to maintaining the procedural and writing skills that underlie effective advocacy. She periodically reviews appellate opinions, statutes, and practice guides to keep her legal toolbox current. Those habits inform the way she prepares pleadings, negotiates resolutions, and advises clients about risk and remedies.

Today Chessie Robinson operates a private practice. She handles a variety of client matters, preparing documents, pursuing resolution through negotiation when possible, and litigating when necessary. Her current practice concentrates on representing clients across transactional and contested matters, balancing courtroom readiness with pragmatic problem solving.
