About Cherie A

Cherie A Parson built a steady academic foundation before entering the legal profession. She earned a B.S. in Business Management from George Mason University in 1996, followed by an M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University’s Virginia Campus in 2004. She completed her J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law in 2011.

Her path through three distinct fields — business, education and law — shaped the way she approaches legal questions. The undergraduate degree grounded her in organizational and financial concepts. Graduate work exposed her to issues of learning, policy and development. Law school added training in advocacy, statutory analysis and case law.

After finishing law school, she began practicing in Virginia. She is authorized to represent clients in that jurisdiction and works from an office in the state. Over time she established a practice that reflects both her academic background and the practical demands of client work in a state court setting.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She tends to break complex problems into manageable parts. That approach is consistent with someone who has studied business operations and the dynamics of education systems. It also aligns with the everyday needs of people and organizations who seek legal guidance that is clear and actionable.

Her firm, Parson Law PLLC, serves clients in Virginia. The practice handles matters that arise under the laws of the commonwealth. She manages files, advises clients on legal strategy and represents them in proceedings when litigation is necessary. Her work blends analytical legal research with attention to practical outcomes.

Outside of the office, her academic record suggests an interest in how institutions operate and how individuals interact with them. That perspective can inform how she evaluates disputes and designs resolutions. It also helps her communicate legal concepts to clients who do not come from legal backgrounds.

She is part of a generation of lawyers who brought life and work experience into the study of law. Her degrees span a decade and a half, and they reflect a deliberate sequence of interests. Today she continues to practice in Virginia and handles legal matters for clients through Parson Law PLLC. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in Virginia.
