About Cheri L.
Cheri L. Crow earned her B.A. in history and urban affairs from Boston College in 1979. She stayed at the same campus for law school and received her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1982. The academic path gave her both local roots and a steady introduction to Massachusetts legal circles.
She entered private practice soon after law school. In 1982 she joined Parker, Coulter, Daley & White as a junior partner. That early period put her into day-to-day litigation and client work in a firm setting. It also exposed her to the practical realities of running cases and managing client expectations.
In 1994 she opened a solo practice, founding the Law Office of Cheri L. Crow. Running a one-lawyer office changed the rhythm of her work. She handled intake, case strategy and court appearances herself. Over time her solo practice became the central vehicle for her professional efforts.
Crow is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association, which signals a regular engagement with workplace- related legal issues. Her courtroom work includes appearances in state and federal trial courts and the occasional appellate matter in the First Circuit. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and exacting in preparation. She tends to take cases that require close attention to procedural detail and an ability to draft clear, persuasive filings.
Her caseload has long included employment-law matters. That work has encompassed client counseling, contested hearings and trial practice. She balances litigation tasks with counseling work for individuals and small organizations. Practicing solo has allowed her to keep direct client contact and to oversee each matter from inception through resolution.
After more than three decades in practice, Crow continues to operate the Law Office of Cheri L. Crow as a sole practitioner. She maintains a practice in Massachusetts that concentrates on employment-related matters and represents clients in both state and federal courts.
