About Chelsea Renee
Chelsea Renee Jagar built her legal career by following a straightforward path: study, practice, then specialization. She studied law on the West Coast after earning an undergraduate degree in Tennessee. Her work life has moved through established California firms and into her own practice.
Jagar earned a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2010. Prior to law school she completed a B.S. at Middle Tennessee State University in 2005. Those degrees bookend formal training that prepared her for courtroom procedure, client counseling, and the practical demands of litigation and negotiation.
After law school she stepped into practice as an associate lawyer. In 2011 she joined the Law Offices of Jonathan D. Larose, APC as an associate. That role was followed by a 2015 associate position at the Law Office of Cristin M. Lowe. At both firms she handled client files, prepared pleadings, and assisted in case strategy. The positions exposed her to the rhythms of family law practice and the day-to-day work of representing individuals in sensitive matters.
Jagar holds the Certified Family Law Specialist credential from the State Bar of California. That certification is granted to attorneys who meet education, experience and testing standards established by the State Bar. It signals a formal recognition of special training and experience in family law matters rather than a promotional description.
She later launched Jagar Family Law, APC. The firm carries her name and reflects a move from associate roles into private practice leadership. At the firm she manages case intake, client counseling, and case strategy. She also oversees the administrative side of running a small law office.
Her practice centers on family law and related proceedings. She works on divorce matters, custody and visitation questions, support calculations, and the procedural issues that accompany family court cases. Her background in both California and out-of-state education informs a practical approach to state law and court procedure.
Today she operates Jagar Family Law, APC, where she concentrates her practice on family law matters and case resolution in California family courts.
