About Charles V.
Charles V. Curley built a steady path into the law that began with a liberal arts education and led to Villanova Law. He earned a B.A. from American University in 1986 and continued his studies at Villanova University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1990. The timeline and credentials put him among a generation of practitioners who entered the profession at the start of the 1990s and who have navigated changes in both courtroom practice and client expectations since then.
After law school Curley sought admission to practice in two neighboring jurisdictions. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Those licenses have allowed him to handle matters on both sides of the state line and to develop a practice that addresses the needs of individuals and businesses that operate across jurisdictional boundaries.
Curley is a partner at Curley & Rothman, LLC. In that role he shares firm management responsibilities, works on client matters and collaborates with colleagues on strategy and case preparation. He maintains an office at Spring Mill Corporate Center, where he meets with clients, conducts intake interviews and manages case files. The partner title reflects a long-term role within a small to mid-sized firm structure rather than a one-off affiliation.
Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic and fact-driven. He prepares cases with attention to the governing rules and to the practical implications for the client. When a matter calls for negotiation he takes a methodical stance. When litigation is necessary he prepares written filings and oral arguments with the same attention to detail. That combination of preparation and practical judgment is what defines much of his work day.
Curley also participates in professional organizations and keeps current with developments in the law. He holds active memberships in bar and legal groups, which provide continuing education and networking opportunities. Those memberships are part of the rhythm of practice for many lawyers and can shape the questions they bring to client matters.
Today he works from the firm’s offices at Spring Mill Corporate Center and handles the range of matters that clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey bring to Curley & Rothman, LLC. He currently focuses his practice on representing clients in legal matters arising in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
