About Charles Thomas Day
Charles Thomas Day IV earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, graduating in 2012 with a B.A. in political science and business administration. He continued his legal education at Michigan State University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2015. Those years combined classroom study in policy, economics and law, and set the stage for a practice focused in Georgia.
Day was admitted to the Georgia bar in 2015 and has held membership in the State Bar of Georgia since that year. He maintains his license in the state and has practiced in the Georgia legal system since joining the bar.
He began his legal career soon after law school as an associate at The Day Law Office, LLC in 2015. In that role he worked on a range of matters typical for a small firm associate, gaining experience in client contact, pleadings and courtroom procedure. The position offered early hands-on work that shaped how he approaches case management and client communication.
In 2018 Day moved to The Griffin Law Office, PC, where he continued in the role of associate. There he expanded his experience and handled additional responsibilities that come with larger caseloads. Those years added depth to his practical skills and exposed him to different litigation styles and office systems.
Today he practices through Athens Personal Injury Lawyer, LLC. The office is based in Georgia and serves clients in the region. His practice draws on the mix of courtroom exposure and day-to-day client work he developed across his earlier positions. He focuses on guiding clients through pretrial processes, discovery and settlement negotiations when appropriate.
Colleagues describe Day as methodical in his preparation and steady in court. He approaches cases with an emphasis on clear communication and routine procedural work, and he applies the technical training from law school to practical tasks. Outside of casework he remains connected to the State Bar of Georgia and to the professional networks that support litigation and civil practice in the state.
He continues to accept matters in Georgia and handles personal injury cases through his current office. His current practice focuses on personal injury law.
