About Charles D
Charles D Slane earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1996. He completed his legal education during a period of change at the school and entered practice equipped for courtroom work and client advocacy. His law school years included study of trial practice and litigation skills that would shape his later career.
After law school Slane became licensed to practice in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. He holds membership in the Minnesota State Bar and has worked across state lines on matters that fall within those jurisdictions. Over time he built experience on both sides of the border, handling case preparation, motions practice and courtroom appearances in state courts.
Slane moved into private practice and eventually became a partner at TSR Injury Law. In that role he has shared responsibility for managing client files, mentoring younger attorneys and coordinating litigation strategy. Colleagues describe his day-to-day work as hands-on, involving everything from initial client intake to negotiation and trial. His partnership reflects years spent developing procedural knowledge and courtroom experience.
On casework, Slane focuses on matters typically handled by an injury practice. He represents individuals who have reported physical harm and seeks recoveries through settlement or trial when necessary. His work involves gathering medical evidence, consulting with experts and arguing damages. He has handled client communications, drafted pleadings and prepared witnesses for testimony. Outside the courtroom he has advised clients on the practical implications of legal decisions and the steps they can take during recovery.
Active in bar activities, Slane maintains his Minnesota State Bar membership and participates in professional events and continuing legal education. He keeps current on developments in personal injury law and procedural rules that affect litigation in the region. He is based at TSR Injury Law and continues to handle cases in Minnesota and Wisconsin. His current practice centers on personal injury matters.
