About Charis
Charis Campbell built a steady, local legal career rooted in Florida courts and civic groups. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of Florida and later received her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2013. Her path through two Florida campuses shaped both her interest in public service and a practical approach to legal work.
Her first paid legal position came in 2012 when she served as a law clerk at Ronald R. Wolfe and Associates. The following year she took on two roles that marked the start of her professional practice: she worked as a lawyer at Gulfcoast Legal Services, Inc., and entered a partnership at Vittetoe-Campbell Law. Those early years combined courtroom exposure and client work in community-oriented settings.
In 2015 she established Golden Key Law Group, PLLC, where she acts as owner. The move to open her own firm followed several years of litigation and nonprofit legal work. Running a small firm has required her to manage case strategy, client intake, and daily operations, while continuing to appear in Florida courts.
Campbell’s professional life extends beyond billable hours. She has been involved in local bar groups and civic organizations for years. She served as President-Elect of the Fred G. Minnis, Sr. Bar Association from 2015 to 2017 and became the association’s President in 2017, a role she holds currently. She holds memberships in the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club (since 2017), the Pinellas Park Chambers of Commerce (since 2016), the St. Petersurg Bar Association (since 2014), and the Canakaris Inn of Court (since 2014). She also volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem in Florida’s Sixth Circuit beginning in 2012 and took on a leadership support role with Business Network International during 2016–2017.
Colleagues and community contacts describe her as someone who balances running a practice with long-standing local ties. She has moved between nonprofit legal services and private practice, and has kept volunteer work as part of her professional life. Throughout, she has remained based in Florida and maintains active involvement in regional legal and civic groups.
She is licensed to practice in Florida and operates Golden Key Law Group, PLLC. She currently practices through Golden Key Law Group, PLLC, serving clients in Florida.
