About Channe Gallagher
Channe Gallagher Coles earned a Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles College of Law in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, awarded in 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Law, awarded in 2002. Those degrees laid a steady foundation in both critical thinking and the practical rules that govern business and commerce.
Her early career moved quickly into courtroom and office settings. In 2009 she joined L.A. Law Group, Inc. as an associate. She then worked as an associate for the Law Office of Gregory L. Johnson in 2010. After that she spent time at McArdle & Vosskuhler, PC in 2013. Each position broadened her exposure to case preparation, client contact and trial work. By 2014 she established her own practice, becoming the managing lawyer and owner of the Law Office of Channe G. Coles.
Coles is admitted to practice in California and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has stayed active in local bar and professional organizations. Her memberships include the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, where she has been involved since 2013, and the Santa Barbara Women’s Lawyers Association, where she has held membership since 2014. Earlier in her career she belonged to the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association from 2010 to 2013.
Her professional path reflects steady movement from associate roles within established firms to managing her own office. Those roles required handling litigation tasks, supervising casework and interacting with judges and opposing counsel. She has overseen the administrative side of a small practice as well as the substantive demands of preparing cases for court.
Clients and colleagues describe her work in practical terms: case management, pleadings, motions and courtroom appearances. She balances legal research with the logistics of case timelines. She also maintains ties to the Santa Barbara legal community through association work and local bar activities.
Today she runs the Law Office of Channe G. Coles. Her practice handles matters in California courts and matters that proceed to the Ninth Circuit, and she continues to represent clients in litigation and related proceedings.
