About Chaille
Chaille Walraven earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2012 after beginning her legal studies in 2009. She moved through a traditional law school path and left Baylor with a degree that launched a multi-jurisdictional practice. The law school years shaped the practical side of her approach to the courtroom and to client work.
After law school she became active in regional bar activities and built credentials across state lines. She is admitted to practice in Texas and Oklahoma and holds admission to the Tenth Circuit. She has been a member of the Texas State Bar since 2020. She also serves as a fellow of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, a status she has held since 2012.
Her career has centered on serving clients in courts across both states and in federal appellate matters when cases reach the Tenth Circuit. That dual-state practice has required attention to differing procedural rules and local practices. Colleagues describe her as methodical about court procedure and steady under deadline pressure. She combines courtroom preparation with attention to the finer points of appellate briefing when a matter proceeds beyond trial courts.
Walraven practices at the firm Graft & Walraven. At the firm she shares responsibility for shepherding matters from initial filing through any necessary appeals. She works on filings in state and federal trial courts and prepares appellate briefs when a record supports further review. Her role involves coordinating discovery strategy, drafting dispositive motions and, when appropriate, arguing in court.
Outside formal filings, she participates in bar and foundation activities that keep her connected to developments in legal practice across the region. She has maintained active professional memberships that reflect ongoing engagement with the legal community. She balances court work and professional involvement while managing a caseload that regularly crosses state lines.
Walraven's current practice centers on representing clients in matters that require counsel admitted in Texas, Oklahoma or the Tenth Circuit. She focuses her day-to-day work on litigation and appellate matters across those jurisdictions.
