About Chad Harry
Chad Harry Lennon studied law at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he prepared for a practice that would straddle public service and veterans’ legal work. He left law school equipped to operate in both courtroom and clinic settings.
He began practicing in 2016 at Murnane and O Neill. The next year he took a public service post as an Assistant District Lawyer in the Suffolk County District Lawyer s Office. That role exposed him to trial work and the day-to-day demands of prosecutorial practice. In 2019 he stepped into a leadership position as Director of the Veterans and Servicemembers Rights Clinic. The clinic role combined administrative duties, client advocacy, and legal education.
In 2021 he joined Tully Rinckey, PLLC. The move aligned him with a firm known for handling military- and veterans-related legal matters. His professional path shows a steady shift from general practice and prosecutions toward issues affecting service members and veterans.
Lennon holds licenses in multiple jurisdictions. He is a licensed lawyer of the New York State Bar and also holds a license with the Maryland State Bar. He is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Those credentials allow him to represent clients in administrative and appellate veterans matters as well as certain military justice appeals.
Outside of casework he participates in several bar organizations. He has served as an officer of the Suffolk County Academy of Law since 2020. Since 2019 he has been a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Veterans and the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs. Those volunteer roles keep him engaged with policy and professional conversations about veterans’ rights and military law.
His experience crosses both public and private sectors. He has handled prosecuted matters, overseen a clinic that served veterans and servicemembers, and joined private firm practice to continue that work from a different angle. Colleagues describe him as practical in the courtroom and methodical in administrative appeals.
He currently practices at Tully Rinckey, PLLC, where he handles veterans benefits and military-related matters.
